  1. Absence of opportunity to behave without virtue? Absolutely agree!
    For example, just because something is illegal and one does not do it, doesn't mean one is virtuous regarding that matter. The real virtue is in behaving well by one's own choice and free will. This is why I don't see the point in legislating moral issues...it does not make society more moral and virtuous, just less law-abiding.
